Brooke Howells
CEO
Brooke joined the Power Tots team in August 2002. She started out as an instructor while handling some of the office tasks outside of teaching. As Power Tots grew, Brooke started working in the office full-time and became the assistant director under the previous owner, Kelly Sorenson. She then became the director in spring of 2019 and moved up as the CEO in spring of 2022. She currently resides in La Plata and has experience in management and business development from her experience in working with Power Tots, as well as her experience from directing at her local theater and serving on their Board of Directors. Brooke enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
“I believe in the Power Tots program because I believe in everything it stands for. Reinforcing positive discipline, promoting a healthy lifestyle and boosting self-confidence are just some of the things that our program does and I’m proud to be a part of it. The physical and mental health and well-being of a child are so vital and should be nurtured and we do that through the fun and excitement of gymnastics, yoga and dance. I wish I had Power Tots as a kid!”
