Instructor
Kiersten joined Power Tots in November 2024 and holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University. With over 10 years of experience in sports and four years as a volunteer Athletic Trainer, fitness has always been a central part of her life. She also spent four years as a member of a competitive dance company, performing in Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, and Ballet. In addition to her movement background, Kiersten began working in education as a substitute teacher in 2021 and served as an Associate Teacher for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, kickboxing, exploring farmer’s markets, hosting game nights, and watching movies.
”Movement will forever be a crucial part of our quality of life, so I’m eager to play an important role in this area of child development. Children are open-minded to trying new skills which makes them super fun to work with! I also love the playful spin Power Tots puts on learning how our bodies can move!”
